Rev. David Taverner MCIBS, ACIS, BD is Minister of St Andrew's and its sister Church, Oathlaw Tannadice.

David was born in 1958 in Edinburgh and is a son of the manse. Both his father and grandfather were Church of Scotland Parish Ministers.  He worked in banking for fourteen years for The Royal Bank of Scotland in Edinburgh, London and Jersey doing general banking, trustee and investment work, offshore banking and lending.

David was inducted to St Andrew's Church and to Oathlaw Tannadice Church in August 2002 having previously been Minister at Friockheim and Inverkeilor Churches for six years.

He enjoys walking, rowing, watching cricket, visiting places of interest and, as time allows, gardening. David is a keen visitor and likes to be kept informed of people in hospital or otherwise in need of a visit from a Minister.
