- Our Minister, David Taverner, visits all his parishioners in their homes.
- The Minister also celebrates Holy Communion in the homes of people who are unable to attend Services, as well as holding Communion in Storyville Residential Home four times a year.
- He regularly visits those who are in hospital or recovering at home.
- He comforts the bereaved and can call on members of the congregation to assist in these visits.
- Elders visit the homes in their districts distributing the Church Magazine, The Link, and other communications.
- They also pass on information about members requiring a visit from the Minister or Pastoral Care Group.
- In general they try to keep members informed about what is happening in Church.
- Twelve members of the Guild, in twos, visit the elderly in sheltered accommodation monthly. Storyville is visited fortnightly.
- Seven visitors call on thirteen elderly members in their own homes monthly.
- Cards are sent on the first anniversary of bereavement.
- A card is sent every birthday, until they go to school, to children who have been baptised in the Church.
As part of the Church of Scotland in Kirriemuir Working with Webster's High School initiative, senior pupils visit Day Care, Storyville, Lyell Court, Kirkton Court and toddler groups as well as the elderly in their own homes.
In addition to our regular services, we also have an ecumenical Worship Group that visits older parishoners and residents in Rowan House, Lisden, Lyell Court, Kirkton Court, Storyville and Glebe Court.
A team of drivers is responsible for transporting any members who find it difficult to attend Church.
